Hi Gramps / Dad, I never got to tell you goodbye and that I love you so much! Your always in my heart. I've got so many good memories of us! My Dad, What sometimes is too short but thank god we had a chance to walk a straight line. A few years, lots of joy, one love may bring me strength and irishness to push me through those tough times, and at the end of the day i can wash my hands and feel my hardness and strength with one dad and his only son. my love pops

Grandpa i love you! You have taught me tons of things that I will carry on for the rest of my life. I may have told you to go home when i was little but i didn't mean it. Now your home gramps with god. you're in a better place now. I would do anything to have you back. It absolutely sucks that your gone. You have gone too soon. You were my last grandpa and i was not ready to lose you. It will be different without you.i look up to and it will be hard without you in my life. I will miss all of your funny sayings. I will miss your comments on everything that has to do with someone having no common sense. But, most importantly you were an amazing grandpa and just overall a great man. I LOVE YOU! my whole life i never got to have a grandfather. one died before i was born and the other when i was 4. When your daughter married my dad you became my step-grandfather. At Charlene's wedding you shook my hand after i said "hey mr. dalton" and you told me "call me grandpa". you were a great man and i remember the times we had together. with you telling a bunch of jokes that we all laughed at and give me advice about different things along the way. i miss you terribly and i will always remember the man who i will always remember as grandpa. rest easy grandpa. you will be in my heart forever.
Charly we are going to miss your kind heart and lots of fun during our Memorial Day and Labor Day get together. Heaven will be a much brighter place with you there. Danny & I met you the day of Charlene & Joe's Wedding at Breakfast and right then & there we felt like part of the family. You made us feel comfortable and like we knew you forever. I am thankful that we had the chance to meet and Mary . I learned a lot about you just reading all the great things that everyone had to say about you. A lot brought tears to my eyes . Rest in Peace.

From the time I was a little girl you have been my rock my best friend you were the man in my eyes . I am not ready to let you go, and I feel like our relationship was just starting to blossom but I understand that it was your time to go and you fought with all your might,but it relives me knowing that you're in a better place.
